It is not acceptable!

By now you realize I don’t like bullying in any form, abuse, (mental and physical) and violence.

Today I want to share thought that a lot of people don’t seem to realize.

Well the thing is I don’t share anything that I believe will hurt someone.  Sure I see those pictures on Facebook and from emails with people from Wal-Mart or some other public place but I never forward or share them, I don’t believe it is fair to them or their family.  I also don’t leave anything on my wall or anywhere if I believe it will hurt someone to read it, especially lies.  It is bad enough when someone hurts you or your loved ones, but worse when someone you don’t know allows hurtful things and lies to be visible for everyone to see.  It hurts those involved to know that it is there.  It is like announcing to the world that you agree with bully and believe all the lies.

I believe that promoting such actions just makes it harder to stop the bullying (the bully will see it as sign you believe it is ok what they are doing).  People talk all the time of how they believe abuse is wrong but allow the abusive statements or pictures to remain or even spread it.  On Facebook I usually report the pictures or statements as offensive and in some cases abusive.  With emails I just delete them.

What I am trying to say is that we must practice this daily, everyone, or kids will see it and believe this behavior is acceptable.  It is not acceptable!  Just like gossiping or telling lies, someone is getting hurt.

Well that is it for now; I just needed to let that out.  I wish people would realize that what they say and do (and not do) affects others.

Thanks for listening, will be back later,
